My latest painting: ‘Cosmic Harmony’
In my Devon studio, creativity flows continually with new paintings always in the works.
When I paint, I don’t start with a plan. I start with a feeling—a spark of curiosity, a mood I can’t quite name, a sense that something wants to come through.
I work with oils and acrylics, layering, blending, scraping back, and adding more. Some days it feels like a dance; other days it’s a quiet conversation. The canvas always tells me what it needs
This week, I’ve been working on a smaller painting ‘Cosmic Harmony’ , and I think the influences of Autumn are coming through - the transition from summer shifting into next season - still with focus on movement and energy, and pops of colour to brighten your day - literally dancing across the canvas. This work is in the process of being framed and will be soon available to view in the gallery in Braunton.
